Meet Kelly
Founder of mOTivated kids LLC
I’ve been an occupational therapist since 2010, after earning my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University at Buffalo. Since then, I’ve worked with children from birth through age 18 in outpatient clinics, homes, schools, and group settings. These experiences have shaped how I practice today: flexible, collaborative, and always focused on meaningful progress.

At mOTivated Kids, I believe therapy should feel engaging, empowering, and hopeful, not overwhelming. I’m passionate about helping children build confidence, strengthen their abilities, and grow more independent in their daily lives. And yes, we absolutely have fun along the way.

My approach is rooted in understanding the nervous system first. When we support regulation and foundational skills, everything else becomes more possible. I work closely with families to look at the whole child, strengths, challenges, environment, and goals, so we can create functional, real-world change that lasts beyond our sessions.

Whether I’m supporting a toddler with motor development, helping a child regulate big emotions, or building executive functioning skills for school and home success, my focus is always the same: measurable progress that increases confidence and independence.

My goal is for families to feel supported, understood, and equipped with tools that make everyday life calmer, more connected, and more manageable.
